Abilities:

Persona ( Artemisia ): Like most of the Persona characters, Mitsuru is capable of summoning an embodiment of one’s inner power, known as Persona. The appearance of the Persona is supposed to reflect their inner personality, and in ways similar to a physical form of one’s psyche. It was also mentioned that Personae could go out of control. Mitsuru’s Initial Persona was called Panthesilea, while the Ultimate form of Panthesilea, is Artemisia. Artemisia was based off of Artemisia of Caria, a ruler from the ancient west religion of Asia Minor. She served as queen after her husband’s death, and continued his legacy. Artemisia much like Panthesilea, specialized in ice based abilities, but with more of a combat based abilities. She appeared as a woman with a mask over her face, carrying a long chained whip as her weapon, wearing a dress and armour.

• Evoker: Personae in Persona 3 (all versions) are called forth by the assistance of a gun like object called an Evoker. It is used like a medium used for S.E.E.S. Persona users in this specific series, to summon and control their Personae. These gun-like instruments are manufactured by the Kirijo Group, and have proved to be traumatizing to the users, as well as tiring. As these Persona users hold the Evokers to their heads, they emulate the idea of a bullet being shot would bring them to a sense of terror, and their strong realization for ‘Death,’ in order to leave their minds in an empty state. It allowed them to summon their Personae. Though in theory, it could be summoned without an Evoker. Mitsuru was one of those special cases, being the first Persona user out of the S.E.E.S. members, and the oldest. Back when she first called forth her Persona, she did not have the aid of an Evoker, and relied purely on her will and drive to protect her father.
